The eligibility requirements and ownership criteria for Rumah IDAMAN SelangorKu are as follows:

1. Malaysian citizens; Aged 18 years old and above;
2. Household income not exceeding RM10,000 per month.
3. Applicant and partner cannot have any type of residential house in Selangor.
4. Applicant or partner who has owned a low cost house (Type A) for five (5) years or more can apply for Selangorku Type B, C and D with the submission of an application letter together with a copy of Sales and Purchase Agreement.
5. Transfer of ownership is only allowed after 5 years with permission from the State Authority; Applicants must register online on the Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) website.

• There is a guideline that states owners cannot rent out the house to others
• The Rumah Selangorku application is active for 2 years
• Applicants must reapply if unsuccessful after 2 years
• Applicants who reject the housing offer will be labeled as inactive for 2 years (so, think twice before rejecting it).

Every Rumah IDAMAN unit comes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, approximately 1,000 square feet in size with two vehicle parking spaces. They’re also equipped with the following items:
