Who Can Apply?
Rumah Selangorku Idaman MBI is an initiative launched by the state government of Selangor to deliver affordable houses to qualifying citizens. This incentive is open to Malaysians who meet the following criteria:
- Over 18 years of age
- Resident of Selangor
- Must not already own a property
- Maximum household income of RM10,000
- One application per household
- Single applicants with dependents may apply

WHAT AR THE ELIGIBILTIY REQUIREMENTS FOR RUMAH IDAMAN SELANGORKU?
The eligibility requirements and ownership criteria for Rumah IDAMAN SelangorKu are as follows:
- Malaysian citizens; Aged 18 years old and above;
- Household income not exceeding RM10,000 per month.
- Applicant and partner cannot have any type of residential house in Selangor.
- Applicant or partner who has owned a low cost house (Type A) for five (5) years or more can apply for Selangorku Type B, C and D with the submission of an application letter together with a copy of Sales and Purchase Agreement.
- Transfer of ownership is only allowed after 5 years with permission from the State Authority; Applicants must register online on the Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) website.
WHAT ELSE DO I HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT APPLYING FOR RUMAH IDAMAN SELANGORKU?
- There is a guideline that states owners cannot rent out the house to others
- The Rumah Selangorku application is active for 2 years
- Applicants must reapply if unsuccessful after 2 years
- Applicants who reject the housing offer will be labeled as inactive for 2 years (so, think twice before rejecting it).
HOW MANY RUMAH IDAMAN PROJECTS ARE THERE?
There are 6 projects located in strategic and rapidly developing areas, namely;
- Idaman Melur (Cybersouth Dengkil/Sepang)
- Idaman Cahaya (Shah Alam)
- Idaman Kita (Cybersouth)
- Idaman Perdana (Puncak Alam)
- Idaman Sari (Pulau Meranti)
- Idaman BSP (Bandar Saujana Putra)
WHAT ARE THE AMENITIES PROVIDED WITH EACH RUMAH IDAMAN SELANGORKU?
Every Rumah IDAMAN unit comes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, approximately 1,000 square feet in size with two vehicle parking spaces. It is also equipped with the following items;
- x1 television unit with a television cabinet
- x1 refrigerator
- x1 kitchen cabinet
- x3 air conditioners
- x2 water heaters in each bathroom
- x3 wardrobes in each bedroom
HOW DO I APPLY FOR RUMAH IDAMAN SELANGORKU?
